Peace…

Philippians 4:6-7Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Galatians 5:22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Do you have inner peace? For example, when all is quiet around you, is your mind quiet also or are your thoughts racing? Even when things around you have slowed down, do you feel like you didn’t get off the rollercoaster? No matter, how many smiling picture you show, how many positive quotes you post and how many times you tell yourself and others that you’re okay and that you’re going forward, are you still in the same place (emotionally) are you still alone, are you still not genuinely filled with true joy. If that’s you, I have old news to share, Only God can fill that empty space, that missing puzzle, only he can bring you true Joy, indescribable peace, unimaginable love and unconditional forgiveness. What do you have to do? Only believe in Him, trust in Him, talk to Him, build a relationship and make Him your priority, make Him you’re foundation. How? Start with talking to Him, He is your Heavenly Father who delights in you. Start reading the bible, let His words truly sink into your heart. There’s no win or lose with Him, there’s only winning. He will not fail you, when you earnestly seek Him. If you’ve tried everything and even over and over and you’re still sad, lonely, angry, disappointed, resentful, stuck, I dare you to try something different, something refreshing, something that’ll quench that thirst so you never thirst again for this world, for man’s love, for man’s riches, for man’s temporary satisfaction, for man’s deceiving calm. Come to the Altar, He is waiting for you right now.

Father, I come to you, just me, I have nothing that I can offer but my hands lifted up to you, my heart open that you may heal it, please help me, get rid of anything and anyone who stops me from really getting to know you, I’ve sacrifice too long for this world, I need an exit a way to true salvation. Lord, here I am, I will believe, I will trust you. In Jesus name Amen.

When HE’S First…

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

My soul is well when I put God first.
My spirit is at peace when I put God first.
My life has order and meaning when I put God first.
My heart is full of love when I put God first.
My thoughts are full of promise when I put God first.
My mind is clear when I put God first.
My words are full of power when I put God first.
My prayers have answers when I put God first.

My life is eternal when I put God first

He loves you, even now…

John 16:7
But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

1John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Romans 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Psalms 31:7
I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.

You don’t have to be perfect to come before God. Think about it, He created you, He knows you, He knows what you’re thinking before you do, so God knows what your trespasses are. God tells us that He sent his only son to die on the cross for us because He loved us, despite of our sinful nature. He made us, He knows us. He knows that troubles are going to come, temptations are going to come, sadness, anger, all that stuff that will try to separate us from the Love of God. BUT, His Grace, yes! His grace is sufficient. Not only does He know that we’re going to have troubles but He has ever so masterfully orchestrated a way out for us. The Holy Spirit was left to us after Jesus ascended, to be our helper. As believers we have really one place to go when all seems to go wrong and that is to the secret place where we can freely, without judgment or condemnation call in the Holy Spirit, our Helper. Time and time again the Lord tells us to call on Him, to open the door and He will dine with us, to seek Him. Let our spirits not be troubled but pray without ceasing. The only thing we need to bring to Him is our heart and our willingness.
Father, thank you so much for being so patient with me. When I forget how graceful and loving you are, I alone condemn myself forgetting how forgiving you are. Lord, I bring it all to you…all that stops me from calling on your name, all that stops me from opening the door, all that stops me from seeking you. Here I am, forgive me. Rescue me from myself and restore me, purify me. I love you, I trust you. In Jesus name. Amen.

Alpha and Omega…He is.

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Isaiah 53:10
Yet it was the Lord ’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

Genesis 50:20
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I believe that Jesus dying was the ultimate suffering, everything bad that you can think of happened in that time, He even felt abandoned by his own father. As I read Isaiah 53:10 the verse in Romans 8:18 came to me as it connected so rightfully with Isaiah. I felt the Holy Spirit reveal to me that if Jesus death was in fact the ultimate sacrifice, then anything that happens to us here on earth that we consider bad, sad or negative is below that (Jesus dying), proving that in fact we can do all things with God and therefore knowing that we have a powerful loving God. Letting us know that indeed he turns that was what meant for evil to good and that he knows the plans that he has for us, to prosper not harm, to give us hope and a future. This filled me with so much joy, to know that no matter what I go through here on earth nothing can compare to what Jesus went through therefore already having an advantage over whatever it is that seeks to destroy me, bring me down, annoy me, anger me, or whatever your hindering is. As I continue to declare healing in my body, I know that whatever was meant to hurt me at the end God has the last word, and that word was for a hope and a future. The bigger purpose which is salvation to his creation, to enter the kingdom where our true eternal home is. So, please, I encourage you as you walk through this life to remember that there is nothing so bad that God can’t turn around for you, even if it doesn’t go your way there’s a greater purpose. Allowing yourself to be used by God in a willing manner like Jesus is what brings to earth what is defined true in heaven (Matthew 6:10). (That’s another post, so I’ll leave that there for now 😉).

Father I just want to thank you right now with all my heart because I know that this thing that holds me back sometimes from being who you want me to be is not over me, I know that your word says that you love me so, that you are strong in my weakness, that you come to me when I call. Lord, I need you. Stand with me. Be with me. Lord, I believe that you loved me so much that you have your only son, so that I may be able to also overcome. That I may live in your joy, in your peace. Father, I turn my heart to you and I say I’m willing, here I am. I trust you. In Jesus name Amen.
