Ask for…

Matthew 7:7-8

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Ephesians 6:11

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Proverbs 2:6

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Have you ever been in need of wisdom? Not just any wisdom though, Godly, heavenly wisdom, top notch wisdom? When you’re a child of God, that is your birthright. You may ask your Father who is in heaven, you may ask the Holy Spirit who is your helper and certainly you may call on the name of Jesus. It doesn’t matter how small or how big our questions or needs are, if we’re in need of guidance, answers or wisdom, we have a creator who knows it all even before the words come out of our mouth, even before we start to put our thoughts together. He already knows. So, if he already knows and we know that he does, why continue to walk scared in the unknown. Don’t let the enemy distract you with fear and doubt. Put the armor of God and come to the Lord boldy, ask God to give you wisdom, that you may always be in his will, that your hands never be idle for the kingdom, that your feet not fail the mission, that your mouth never be silent from his word, that your heart receives his will.

Lord, I ask you forgive me for my sins, forgive me if I have kept silent in a time when you needed me to rise up. Forgive me Father if my hands have been idle for you, forgive me if my feet have been stuck in the same place. Forgive me Lord if my heart has betrayed you and I’ve walked away from your will. Lord, I come boldly and ask that you give me the wisdom, that you anoint me from head to toe, let praise and blessing be forever in my tongue and let my hands raise towards you, Lord mark my steps and let me walk in your will, starting now. I receive your forgiveness, I can feel your love for me, I can feel how you wash away my rebel heart, Lord I open my heart and my life for you to take over. I surrender it all. Your word says ask and you shall receive, I’m asking Heavenly Father. Let my life glorify you in every way. In Jesus name, Amen.

He knows…

Exodus 32:1

When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.”

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Remember in Exodus when Moses went up to the mountain to be with God, Moses was receiving very important wisdom but the people started to feel like Moses was taking so long and they started to tell Aaron their concerns. Now, Aaron chosen by God you would think he’d tell the people to be patient but instead he made the idols for them!

We get so impatient sometimes even as Christians, we start to get shaky when we don’t know what’s next, we sometimes tend to move away from God’s will trying to make things happen when God clearly is the one in control. What do we think we’re doing really? Helping God? If anything it’s a bit intrusive really. He tells us to be still and yet we still do the opposite only to mess up God’s plan. His ways are not our ways and neither is his timing. We’re so stubborn sometimes even when we know that our hands can never do what Gods hands can do. We totally make things worse when we intrude and it’s only that by God’s grace that he leads us back into his will. Wow. I’d be in a bad place if it wasn’t for his grace. Yes, I’m guilty of completely causing all sorts of mess for myself when God was trying to make my paths straight. It was only after the fact that it was clear that God was definitely in control and that He definitely loved me so much that when he says He knows the plans he has for me, He truly does.

Lord, help me to trust you more with the things I don’t have any control over. Guide me into your will and give me the wisdom to be able to recognize and to know that you are my creator my wonderful Father who loves me and wants the best for me. You are such a good Father, but sometimes I  let others words get into my thoughts and then it goes into my heart, next thing you know I am so far away from your will because I believe what others have said instead of trusting and having faith in you. Lord forgive me. Lord guide me. Lord give me wisdom. In Jesus name Amen.

Kingdom Qualified…

Hebrew 13:20-21

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Romans 8:31

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Have you ever doubted your abilities, your gifts, your talents or your qualifications? I remember there was a time when I always felt ashamed, always felt short, always felt under qualified. If I made a mistake I felt like I wasn’t any good. If I slipped and said a bad word or lost my temper I felt like I was never good enough. Good enough for who or what? For God and His kingdom, how can I, the worst of the worst ever be qualified to do great things here on earth for His kingdom? The things I’ve said, the things I’ve thought of, the things I’ve done! Well, it took a while, it took prayer, fasting, reading the Bible, and humbling myself before the Lord. How many times? One, two, three, more like hundreds of times, as many times as I had to until my boldness and confidence grew in the Lord. I can tell you this world will never let you rise, never let you feel qualified, never acknowledge you, never love you the way God can. God will receive you, God will nurture you, God with his righteous firm hand will edify you, all while Loving you unconditionally. When this world throws at you the “you’re not good enough”, “you’re not qualified”, “you’re not pretty enough”, “you’re not smart enough”, “you’re not rich enough”, just remember that you my friend are a child of the Most High God! You are the apple of His eye! You are who he holds with his righteous right hand! You are Royalty! You are the light! You are created in His image! Let that sink in a second into your spirit! YOU are created in HiS IMAGE! So, open your bible! And start declaring those promises!

Lord, Wonderful amazing Abba! I love you,I love you. I surrender all that hinders me from getting closer to you. I bring to your throne all that I am so that you can use me, who you created in your image to bring people to Christ with the words of my mouth and the testimonies that I have to bring Glory to your name! Show me your favor Lord as I walk in this world qualified by your Kingdom! Anointed by your hand! I am more than enough because you say I am! This world might be against me but you are for me! And how Great you are! Thank you! In Jesus name Amen.

My God…

I want God to show up in my life the way He showed up for all the people in the bible… Supernaturally and Amazingly..that God that you fear and love and that you know will show up to back you up even when no one believes. I want that fire in the burning bush and I want to stand right at the front when the waters part. I want to be lifted up into heaven in a vision and I want to be in the fire with Jesus by my side. I want to hold the slingshot in my hand with God’s favor while I stand in front of my giants. I want to go before kings without being summoned but because I am a child of God I am protected. I want that God that brought back Lazarus from the dead. I want that God who can feed ma Mana from heaven. I want the God who can multiply fishes and loaves of bread when I don’t have enough. I want to step into the water and walk towards Jesus. The God of all, that is my prayer to you. In Jesus name Amen.
Take this time to reflect on who your God is? He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He never changes. Wow.
