Motivational Quotes are great sometimes. But who writes them? What are their beliefs? What kind of life do they live in private? And by the way regardless of the “feeling” you get, it’s all temporary. To be honest they carry no substance. They might get you through a day, maybe months… but did you ever notice you were always thirsty for more? It’s like now you need to search for this motivation and while your mind is enamored with the words and your gut gets the “feeling”, you are somehow still physically immobile. Wonder why that is? (rhetorical question). So with all that said, let me share with you where my “motivational quotes” (for a lack of a better term) comes from. -God’s promises. Heard of them? We know who He is, we know His intentions, we know He comes from love, we know that His promises are permanent. Most importantly He is constantly reminding us of who we are in Him. His word, well…it brings forth life. LIFE! Something that is ALIVE! And is God a liar that He may lie to us? Absolutely not. His promises fill us, they bring us joy, they bring us ideas, they bring truth, they bring creativity, they bring…well..you get it. Doesn’t it feel so good to KNOW, like actually KNOW that God YOUR creator gives you this book full of life that brings life to dead bones, that quenches that thirst and satisfies that hunger, that not only motivates you to feel good in the moment but that actually MOVES you towards your destiny! I can go and on. Don’t worry, I won’t leave you without any references. Here’s your first. Ready? It’s called the bible.
